e any interest or curiosity about amateur radio, including how we set up a simulated emergency radio communication site, visit us that weekend. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and give you a free tour of our site with no obligations.

Come to the park around 9:30 a.m. Saturday and you can see the stations being set up, antennas being raised into trees and onto towers, etc., or any time between 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday to see how radio contacts are made from our field stations with other amateur radio operators throughout the USA. We will operate throughout the 24 hours under simulated emergency conditions, rain (but not lightning), or shine, or dark of night, using portable generator power.
