FREE AMATEUR RADIO CLASSES

FOR NEW HAMS AND THOSE WISHING TO UPGRADE!

 Spring, 2010

Are you interested in talking on amateur radio with people locally, across the country, around the world, or even astronauts and cosmonauts orbiting in space?  You can!

The Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club is offering a series of 9 free classes, Tuesday evenings 7 – 9 p.m.), beginning March 9, near Nazareth, to help interested individuals pass a test to earn their entry –level FCC Amateur Radio Licenses.

Appropriate for adults and children (usually 9 years and older).

For amateur radio operators already licensed at the Technician License level, UPGRADE to the GENERAL LICENSE. Classes start May 11  (5 Tuesdays, 7 – 9 p.m.).

For amateur radio operators licensed at the General License level, UPGRADE to the EXTRA LICENSE. Classes start March 9  (7 Tuesdays, 7 – 9 p.m.).
