146.700 PL Access Change
With the addition and modifications to our 146.700 repeater, we had to make a change in the way you control the PL access code.
Starting Sat. Feb 24th 2001 we will implement the PL access again with a major change. To get carrier access you need to hit the number
"0" for 5 to 6 seconds (Long Tone Zero), (Litz). After your conversation is complete you are asked to return the repeater back to PL access by hitting the number
"1" for 5 to 6 seconds. This change will not reset itself automatically as before, you must switch it back to PL access yourself, please.
Remember that if you are running without any PL you will only access the Nazareth site.
Feel free to spread the word, This and only this code may be given out to anyone. The "Litz" code is becoming a standard with many Ham repeater owners across the country.
